As I stated in the main text each member of this male voice choir had a VERY large cowbell strapped to him on a thick leather holster or a braces type arrangement with multiple small bells on. The did not use them while singing but when marching, bashed the bells in time with each step causing an unholy row that we could only assume was designed to act like Stottish bagpipes and frighten the bejesus out of any enemy.
