In Iberia wandering herds of goats and sheep free graze on any land not fenced and gated, in Portugal the herds are normally attended by a shepherd or goatherd and a dog while Spain they are often often tended by a lone dog.
This goat (for reasons known only to itself ignored the herd, dog and herdsman and stayed within yards of the caravan for several days before disappearing - and no, the freezer was too full to even think about it 😇😇
